Dafe, you are certainly allowed to make multiple threads! I would rather like to encourage it.
As far as staff applications, I don't think it is necessary. Every successful community I have been a part of has selected officers/staff/mods by invite only. There isn't so much "work" to do in a small community like this one that the ownership has to actively recruit staff, IMHO.
If you, or any other member is looking to be part of "the team", then I would suggest they just step up. Be online a lot, be vocal in chat and friendly. Help others by donating material, time or information, make community builds. This type of individual is likely to stand out and be approached for a staff/officer/mod position if and when the need arises.
